Samyuktha Menon
Samyuktha Menon Allied Health – Trainee
There are many events that happen in one’s life, some good, some bad and some in the middle of the road. Through each of these events and experiences humans rely on someone to share the experience and navigate through the consequences. But sometimes, some experiences hurt more and leave a scar and the need for support is important. I believe having a safe place of support to think things through with someone who is qualified and able to support is the beginning of understanding what those difficult events
may be.
I approach all clients with a sense of curiosity and try to figure out what is happening to them and find out how best to support them. I believe in collaborative work where we are both active parties involved in the therapy. Creating a space that is non-judgmental is paramount to my practice.
I am currently a licensed Allied Health trainee and will be appropriately supervised by a doctoral level psychologist who will be giving me feedback and guidance in managing my caseload. At any point, having a discussion with my supervisor is something we can
organize if need be.
I see young adults from the ages of 18 and above.
