Rachael Charles
Assistant Psychologist in Dubai
Background
I am a UK-trained mental health therapist, a member of the British Psychological Society (GmBPS), and a CDA-licensed Assistant Psychologist. I hold a BSc Psychology degree and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Psychology. I bring a broad experience and an integrative approach to my practice. I specialise in supporting individuals through significant life changes, midlife crises, grief, chronic illness, and complex family dynamics, including blended families. I also work closely with individuals who feel they have lost their way, helping them rediscover their path.
Therapeutic Approach
Life’s challenges can be complex, and having a space to reflect and gain perspective can make a meaningful difference. I use an integrative approach in my counselling services which is grounded in compassion and acceptance to help clients improve self-awareness and build resilience. I emphasize compassion for both ourselves and others, as well as the importance of perspective-taking. By understanding what triggers our emotions and behaviors, we can navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, enhancing our emotional health and well-being.
Exploring our thoughts, emotions, and the attachment patterns that shape us helps build a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world. I offer a space where clients feel heard and safe to explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment, fostering personal growth and a deeper connection with themselves and others.
Together, we can navigate your inner world and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.”
