You’ve probably spent a long time trying to keep everything together. You’re capable, driven and used to pushing yourself, but underneath it all, you may feel overwhelmed, exhausted or like you’re never quite doing enough. You might overthink, struggle to switch off, procrastinate, or put enormous pressure on yourself to get things right. From the outside, you may look like you’re coping. Inside, it can feel very different.
Perhaps you’ve always felt like you have to work harder than everyone else just to keep up. You may struggle with focus, organisation, motivation or emotional regulation and wonder whether ADHD could explain some of what you’ve experienced. Or you may already have an ADHD diagnosis and want to understand yourself better. For others, difficulties may show up through anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem or addictive behaviours such as alcohol, drugs, gambling and others.
These experiences can often overlap, leaving you feeling stuck in patterns you understand but struggle to change. Trauma and difficult past experiences can also continue to influence how you see yourself, your relationships and the way you respond to the world around you.
My approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental. I believe meaningful change starts with understanding yourself with greater compassion, rather than constantly feeling that you need to fix or change who you are. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards healthier ways of responding. Within my practice, I use trauma-focused approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed therapy and EMDR.
I have experience working across private practice, the NHS and the addiction sector, and have worked with a wide range of presentations including addiction, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, emotional regulation, self-esteem and life transitions. I take the time to understand the bigger picture, tailoring therapy to you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Whether you’re trying to make sense of ADHD, considering an assessment for yourself or your teenager, breaking free from an addictive pattern, processing experiences from your past, or simply wanting to feel more confident and comfortable in yourself, therapy can provide a space to feel understood and supported.
You don’t have to keep pushing yourself until you burn out or wonder why you can’t seem to get things right despite trying so hard. You deserve support that helps you understand yourself, not judge yourself.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to support you.
My approach is tailored to each individual, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches depending on your needs and goals.
