Coping With Trauma : An Informative Webinar 

In light of war, conflict and natural disaster that have affected the region in recent times, we are running a webinar to help you understand trauma and secondary trauma for anybody affected directly or indirectly by recent events.
We will help you understand the impact of tragic events on our mental and physical health and the effects these are having on our everyday life. We will also be discussing compassion fatigue, the importance of self care and
ways that will help you cope with trauma.

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Anyone who has been directly or indirectly impacted by war, conflict or natural disaster in the region.

 

Session Outcomes:

  • An understanding of trauma and secondary trauma and the impact of events on your mental and physical health.
  • Techniques to cope with trauma and ways to self care.
  • How to care and support others while maintaining good mental hygiene.
  • Information about additional professional support.
