Dr. Tolulope Olowe

In addition to her work with children and adolescents, Dr. Lulu has extensive experience supporting individuals across a broad age range—from teenagers to adults—who present with a wide variety of emotional and mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, mood disorders, and psychotic presentations, at varying levels of severity.

Dr. Lulu completed her specialist training at the renowned Maudsley Hospital, affiliated with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. She holds additional qualifications in Tropical Medicine, Mental Health Law, and International Health, further enriching her clinical perspective.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr. Lulu conducts thorough clinical assessments to understand the individual’s unique strengths and challenges. Her approach to care is guided by a blend of timeliness, calmness, practicality, and a holistic perspective rooted in the biopsychosocial model. Her experience has honed her expertise in diagnosing and treating a spectrum of mental health issues.

Dr. Lulu’s assessments utilise the most effective tools, followed by tailored care plans that include psychoeducation, medication management, and recommendations for psychological interventions.

Dr. Lulu has worked across inpatient, community, and forensic settings. She has a strong background in clinical governance, safeguarding, and multidisciplinary leadership, having served as both Medical Director and Clinical Lead. Dr. Lulu is actively involved in service development, training, and audit, with a focus on delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive care grounded in the biopsychosocial model.
