I hold a holistic view of people as they move through various life stages, attending not only to areas of difficulty but also to sources of strength and resilience. My therapeutic work is grounded in an integrative, relational approach, where the collaborative relationship between therapist and client forms the foundation of the healing process. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is not only an essential condition for psychological growth and change, but also consists of moments of genuine connection, which are, in themselves, powerful agents of transformation.
I am a South African counselling psychologist, registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as well as the Community Development Authority in Dubai. After completing my undergraduate and Honours degree in Psychology at Stellenbosch University, I pursued a master’s degree focusing on family resilience. I later completed a second master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, graduating cum laude. With over ten years of experience, I have provided therapeutic care and training in a range of settings including private practice, non-profit organisations, universities, and schools. My multicultural training, along with professional experience in both South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, enables me to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and to offer culturally sensitive psychological support.
