Psychological distress and mental suffering can present in many forms. You may have lost a loved one, be suffering in your relationship or struggling with work-related stress. You may be suffering with depression, anxiety, or an eating disorder. You may just feel aimless, as if you have lost direction in your life.
Our mission here at The Psychiatry and Therapy Centre is to help you through this difficult time in your life. We have a group of dedicated professionals who each have more than 10 years of training and experience in helping people with psychological distress and mental issues. We will work with you with empathy, warmth and kindness, and ensure that you have access to evidence-based treatments.
Our Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists and Psychologists are predominantly UK and European-trained and have worked in the British National Health Service (NHS), one of the world’s largest and most effective healthcare organisations, or in equivalent European public health services and in private practice. Each of them has a strong record of service in the voluntary sector.
The ambition is for The Psychiatry and Therapy Centre to become one of the cornerstones of the local mental health community and to engage with all relevant regulators, as well as fellow mental health professionals, clinics, hospitals, schools, universities, charities and support groups in order to promote the relevance of mental health in the broader community and to ultimately serve our patients in the best possible way.
