Dr. Clarice Mendonca

Allied – Psychologist

‘Light on a cold mountain.’ Unknowingly, I was given a name whose meaning perfectly describes my life’s purpose. As a clinical psychologist and neuropsychology specialist, I am committed to being a light of hope, support, and guidance, illuminating and providing warmth to all who journey through the cold mountains of despair, loneliness, and confusion.

For more than a decade, I have invested my time and effort in enhancing my ability to use our human connection to help and heal. My education and experiences within the Dubai, Indian, and American context have taught me that one size does not fit all. Therefore, I tailor evidence-based services to the distinctive needs of those who seek my help, each of whom is uniquely shaped by their personality, biology, history, cultures, values, and experiences.

My services are threefold. I provide psychotherapy to help individuals work through challenges and transform their relationship with the world, others, and themselves. I conduct assessments for diagnosis, intervention planning, and to understand brain and personality functions that influence our abilities and goals. I also offer psychoeducational services for the community as part of our collective pursuit of excellence, meaning, and authentic happiness.
